ActiveGuard

ActiveGuard is a unique technology from Sennheiser that uses sophisticated electronics to compress incoming signals that are outside safe decibel levels, leaving a safe signal that is free of distortion.

ActiveGuard is different in that other noise reduction methods clip loud sound, therefore cutting bits of the signal, which means you will not here a conversation in full. With ActiveGuard, the whole signal (or conversation) is received. Also, being an active element, is will react within a few milliseconds, so you will not even be aware of the sound rising. This allows the the signal to always stay within the safe levels as stipulated under the Noise at work directive.

This will be of benefit to anyone who uses a headset but, obviously, users in call centres or anywhere that requires headsets to be used for long periods of time will benefit the most.
