Sennheiser HMEC 25 KA headset


The Sennheiser HMEC 25 KA aviation headset is a very lightweight and very comfortable closed headphone headset with NoiseGard active noise compensation (power supply for the NoiseGard circuitry requires 2 x 5V batteries). Noise reduction of the HMEC 25 KA is approx. 15 dB and consequently the ATC signal can be decreased. The nominal impedance of the headphones is 200 Ohm. The Different connector and powering versions of the Sennheiser HMEC 25 KA are available to suit every conceivable cockpit configuration. The two-piece adjustable headband ensures a secure fit while the boom microphone with noise-compensated electret capsule can be turned through 350° and worn on either the left or right side of the head. Replaceable microphone capsule and microphone preamplifier are available and the the HMEC 25 KA has FAA and JAA TSO approval (C 57 a and C 58 a).
